Description
The #5 nylon coil separating mattress cover zipper is medium-weight and features teeth that measure approximately 6.5mm wide when zipped. These medium-weight zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style.
The 315" length will go all the way around a king-sized mattress or a California king. If you are working with bedding for smaller mattresses, for instance queen or double beds, these zippers can easily be shortened.
These are one-way zippers (they have one slider), and are made especially for mattress covers for beds with adjustable firmness, water beds, and any other type of bed.
The uses for these extra long nylon coil zippers are not limited to repairing or replacing zippers on mattress covers and duvet covers - they can be used for cushions, upholstery, automotive, aviation or any use where you need a very long but medium weight zipper. This is one of our longest separating zippers.
Zipper tape width is 0.5" on each side. Total zipper width is approximately 1.25".
This zipper is right-handed (slider is on the right when worn).

#7 Gunmetal Coil Separating Jacket Zipper
Works great
7.5 mm winter coat zipper -> #8 slider.
Easy install after removing the old top stops (via wire cutters).
Replaced both sliders and the top stops (pliers to close the new stops in place).
Don't forget to:
1. Identify your zipper type from Zipper Shipper's guide
2. Measure your zipper width per Zipper Shipper's guide
3. Pick the right slider per Zipper Shipper's guide
4. Buy 2 new top stops, since installing new sliders means cutting off the old ones (Zipper Shipper has packs of 10)
