Sliders must be paired with their correctly sized counterparts - in other words, a #5 slider for metal zipper will only work on #5 metal zipper chain.
Not sure which type of slider to order? Standard / auto-lock sliders are typically used on clothing, upholstery and bedding. Non-lock/long pull sliders are typically used on bags, tents and covers.
Please keep in mind that we only guarantee that our sliders are compatible with the continuous molded plastic zipper chain and molded plastic zippers that we sell. We do not guarantee that our sliders will work with your existing zipper. Most of the time they do, but there can be variations across zipper manufacturers.
