I have a 25 year old winter coat, light and warm, exactly right for New England winters. The plastic zipper that came with the coat gave up after about 15 years and my wife replaced it with a brass zipper from Zipper shipper. That worked just fine until early this winter, so she is replacing it with a new one that is one size larger.

I’ll be getting my zippers from Zipper Shipper from now on because they have a wide selection and the turnaround is fast.

So far I've been able to match the zipper color to the shirt color of the shirts I'm making. Next project will be to make a zippered jacket. I hope! Still learning.

Whoever told me that brass/metal zippers aren't flexible enough hasn't seen this zipper! It is such a nice zipper I haven't even put it on my coat yet because I like to admire it. If anyone is wondering, size #5 is a good size for a winter parka. If I had gotten #10 like I was considering, that would have been comically large for my needs.
