Reverse Coil Zippers
12 Products
Reverse coil zippers are nylon coil zippers with an invisible look. They are nylon coil zippers, flipped around, so the teeth are facing the inside rather than the outside of the zipper chain. They are not true invisible zippers. You cannot sew all the way to the teeth, however, you get an invisible look.
Reverse coil zippers can be both bottom separating (jacket-style) zippers and closed-end zippers.
Bottom separating reverse coil zippers are typically found on outdoor jackets where protection from the elements helps improve the durability of the zipper. They're also common in sportswear, activewear and leisurewear. If you have a jacket zipper that looks like an invisible zipper and the teeth face the inside of the zipper, it's most likely a reverse coil zipper.
Closed-end reverse coil zippers are commonly found on garments (pockets, shorts, pants), and they're also commonly found on various types of bags, including backpacks, coolers and luggage.
Zipper Shipper stocks a variety of finished reverse coil zippers, which can all be found on this page. You can also create a reverse coil zipper using standard nylon coil continuous zipper chain PLUS reverse bale sliders. Because zipper chain can be used to create extra long and custom length closed-end zippers, it's commonly used to replace reverse coil closed-end zippers on backpacks and suitcases and other types of bags.
