#5 is a very common size for medium-weight items in upholstery, bedding, apparel, bags and backpacks.

HOW TO ORDER - Zipper chain is sold by the yard and by the spool (219 yards).

If purchasing by the yard, select "By the Yard" in the quantity field and enter the desired number of yards in the quantity box below. Bulk discounts start when buying quantities of 10 yards or more. A quantity of 1 = 1 yard. A quantity of 10 = 10 yards, etc. Zipper chain will come as 1 continuous zipper, regardless of yards ordered. A quantity of 10 yards, for example, will come as 10 yards of continuous zipper chain and not 10 pieces that are 1 yard each.
If purchasing by the spool, select "Spool" in the quantity field and enter the desired number of spools. 1 full spool = 219 yards of continuous zipper chain. A quantity of 1 spool = 219 yards. A quantity of 2 spools = 438 yards, etc. When purchasing zipper chain by the spool, you will receive the physical spool, which is convenient for storage.

Zipper sliders sold separately. #5 nylon coil sliders sold by Zipper Shipper® are compatible with this zipper chain.

Suitable for 1- and 2-way zippers. You can make both 1-way and 2-way zippers from nylon coil zipper chain. A 2-way zipper that opens from the middle bag-style can be constructed by simply attaching the sliders in the configuration you want.

Suitable for invisible / concealed zippers. You can make invisible-looking zippers from nylon coil chain by pairing it with reverse bale sliders.

Zipper chain can only be used for closed-end zipper applications. Separating zippers (up to 30 ft) can be found via our Bottom Separating Zippers listings.

Worked Great

The zippers and pull tabs worked great! The pull tabs were a bit big for our project, but not bad.

We ordered the zipper to replace one on a sofa cushion. My husband just replaced it yesterday and it went in really well and feels like it will last compared to the one that came on it installed in China and very poor quality. Very pleased with our purchase!

Great Quality Zipper

I used 2.5 yards of the nylon zipper chain for a 5 foot long box cushion for a window bench. It is a great quality zipper that was easy to work with. I ordered the autolock slider for nylon coil zipper to go with it. It was fairly easy to install onto the zipper chain. I will definitely order more yardage of zipper chain for future projects. It’s a great way to save money on zippers and get the exact length that I need!

Great Product
