A broken slider is an easy fix. The hard part is buying the right one. Manufacturer numbers on old sliders don’t always match, “#5” isn’t the same across brands, and a slider made for nylon coil will not run on molded plastic or metal teeth.

Each Replacement Zipper Slider Sampler Pack gives you the most common sizes for one zipper type so you can test-fit, keep extras on hand, and stop paying shipping on the wrong slider.

Choose your zipper type above. One pack = one zipper family. Sliders are not interchangeable across types.

How to pick the right pack

1. Look at the teeth, not the slider body. Most sliders are metal even when the zipper is nylon or plastic.

2. Match the tooth material:

• Nylon coil — flexible spiral teeth, common on jackets, garments, bags, and upholstery
• Molded plastic — chunky individual plastic teeth, common on jackets, luggage, and outdoor gear
• Metal — brass/nickel teeth, common on jackets, jeans, and heavier garments
• Reverse bale / reverse coil — nylon coil with teeth facing the back for an “invisible” look; needs a reverse-bale slider, not a standard coil slider

3. Then, pick the pull style:

• Jacket / auto-lock — locking sliders that stay put on jackets, pockets, garments, and upholstery
• Long pull / non-lock — longer pull, slides from either direction; typical on bags, backpacks, covers, and outdoor items
• Reversible — access is needed to the zipper from both sides, or the jacket is reversible
• Mixed (reverse bale only) — includes a mix of standard auto-lock, flatlock and non-lock long pull reverse bale sliders
