Description
The #5 nylon coil slider is an non-lock slider with a two handle double pull that is compatible with #5 nylon coil zippers and #5 nylon coil zipper chain only.
It is primarily used on items that require inside/outside access, such as tents and sleeping bags. Alternatively, it can be used on a jacket to make it reversible.

Replacement zipper
I am repairing a back pack style shoulder bag zipper that keeps popping open in the middle. I can't find why it pops, as it meshes properly, and I can't pull it and make it pop. So I am just going to replace it before the contents of the bag fall out and get lost. This zipper appears to be as close a match to the original as I can expect to find, other than it separates, but I can sew the connection below the opening beginning.
