It is primarily used on items that do not require a locking slider and/or benefit from a longer pull tab, such as bags.

Replacement zipper for coat
I needed a 42" zipper two-way coat zipper. I guessed at the size and order a size 10, which was way too large. I followed the return process and e-mailed and explained I figured out a need a size 5 in the same length. I was given excellent instructions on how to return and order the size I needed.
