Common uses
Description
All plastic sliders feature a body made of plastic (as opposed to traditional metal), making them light in weight and resistant to corrosion. These can work on a variety of applications. They can be used as replacement sliders on anything from jackets and pockets to swimwear and bags.
Please note: while the body of this slider is made entirely of plastic, there is a tiny metal pin inside the slider, which is used for the auto-lock mechanism.

#7 Gunmetal Coil Separating Jacket Zipper
Works great
7.5 mm winter coat zipper -> #8 slider.
Easy install after removing the old top stops (via wire cutters).
Replaced both sliders and the top stops (pliers to close the new stops in place).
Don't forget to:
1. Identify your zipper type from Zipper Shipper's guide
2. Measure your zipper width per Zipper Shipper's guide
3. Pick the right slider per Zipper Shipper's guide
4. Buy 2 new top stops, since installing new sliders means cutting off the old ones (Zipper Shipper has packs of 10)
