Description
Zipper Shipper’s most weatherproof zipper.
The heavy-duty Rain Defyer™ zipper is constructed from #10 gauge coil and features extra-wide zipper tape (1") on each side. Zipper teeth measure approximately 10 mm (½ inch) wide when zipped.
These zippers are water repellent and UV resistant, with polyurethane coatings made by DuPont. Each zipper has a 316 stainless steel insertion pin and retainer box on the bottom for rust-free operation. Available in black, up to 108 inches long. Shortening services are available for an additional charge.
These are one-way separating zippers (they have one slider).
Choice of 2 sliders:
- 1-Handle Reverse Bale / Long Pull — the pull tab falls on the seam side of the zipper, and the teeth are hidden when the zipper is sewn in. Long pull for easier operation with gloves or on outdoor gear.
- 2-Handle Long Pull — double pull for inside/outside access; long pulls on both sides. Popular for tents, enclosures, and similar applications.
Tape width: 1" each side.
