Description
#10 molded plastic extra-long two-way separating zippers feature teeth that measure approximately 10mm (1/2 inch) wide when zipped. These zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style.
These are heavy-duty 2-way zippers (they have two sliders), and are sometimes called dual zippers, double zippers, or two-head zippers. These zippers unzip from the top down AND the bottom up. Each slider has two-handles, meaning the zipper can be accessed from both the inside and outside of the item it's placed in. They are especially useful for sleeping bags and tents, as you can circulate air more easily than with a one-way zipper. The 2-handled sliders allow zipping from either the inside of the structure or the outside of the structure.

This zipper worked perfectly for what I was trying to do. I did need to shorten it and we couldn't get the zipper stop off to do that. But it was long enough and I needed to take enough teeth off that I was able to replace the zipper stop with no problem. I ordered it with that in mind.
