Description
The #7 gunmetal nylon coil separating jacket zipper is a medium-weight zipper and is an upgraded version of the traditional nylon coil zipper. Featuring gunmetal plated teeth, this metallic coil zipper has the appearance of a metal zipper, but the flexibility of a coil zipper.
The oversized pull tab on the slider allows for easy gripping (perfect for when wearing gloves!), and the hole in the pull tab allows for attachment of a fabric swatch, if desired.
This zipper fully separates at the bottom, jacket style.

Purchased to use while shortening a heavy duty #10 molded plastic zipper. Worked great, I just had to get out a larger pair of pliers to get more leverage to clamp it shut tight.

I didn't know that such things could be purchased. I looked up on the internet how to replace a zipper pull and found out that a stopper could also be purchased. At first, I considered not buying them and decided I would be sorry if I didn't. I'm glad I did. The instructions showed how to remove the stopper with a pair of needle nose but for me using a small thin flat screwdriver worked the best, except the stopper flew across the room never to be found. I was glad I bought a pkg. of stoppers which I fastened onto my garment with the needle nose pliers. They were a good investment.
