#5 nylon coil separating reversible zippers are medium-weight and feature teeth that measure approximately 5mm (1/4 inch) wide when zipped.

The slider’s tab swings around to fall on the desired side of the zipper, making the zipper reversible. One side of the reversible zipper when worn appears invisible/concealed, while the other has the coil chain exposed.

These #5 nylon zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style. These are one-way zippers (they have one slider).

Great Replacement Zipper

The zipper on my daughter’s pink rain jacket broke, so rather than discard it and buy a new coat, we decided to try to be resourceful and replace the zipper.
