Description
The #5 standard slider for metal zipper is an auto-lock slider that is compatible with #5 metal zippers and #5 metal zipper chain only. It can also be used as the top slider on a two-way zipper.
It is commonly used for applications where the zipper needs to stay in place until the slider tab is pulled, such as jackets.

Replacement zipper
I am repairing a back pack style shoulder bag zipper that keeps popping open in the middle. I can't find why it pops, as it meshes properly, and I can't pull it and make it pop. So I am just going to replace it before the contents of the bag fall out and get lost. This zipper appears to be as close a match to the original as I can expect to find, other than it separates, but I can sew the connection below the opening beginning.
