Description
#5 nylon coil separating reversible zippers are medium-weight and feature teeth that measure approximately 5mm (1/4 inch) wide when zipped.
The slider’s tab swings around to fall on the desired side of the zipper, making the zipper reversible. One side of the reversible zipper when worn appears invisible/concealed, while the other has the coil chain exposed.
These #5 nylon zippers separate at the bottom, jacket-style. These are one-way zippers (they have one slider).

Replacement zipper
I am repairing a back pack style shoulder bag zipper that keeps popping open in the middle. I can't find why it pops, as it meshes properly, and I can't pull it and make it pop. So I am just going to replace it before the contents of the bag fall out and get lost. This zipper appears to be as close a match to the original as I can expect to find, other than it separates, but I can sew the connection below the opening beginning.
