Rachel I think the zipper is very well made, and durable, which is why I didn't knock it down a star, but I would say that it's actually too heavy duty for what I needed. I was repairing the zipper on a tent and when the fabric of the tent got caught in the teeth of the zipper it ripped the fabric. It is also very heavy so I'm glad I didn't use it on a backpacking tent. It was well enough made that I'm going to order another zipper from this company for another zipper but I think I'm going to switch to a plastic zipper.

New life to expensive jacket
Not a beginner project, but the coil zipper is comparable to the original zipper. Very happy finding this zipper!
