Good quality and fast service

This zipper was purchased to replace a failed YKK on a MicroPuff Hoodie. The zipper itself seems excellent, but the task of getting there was pretty gruesome using an old Singer which doesn't even have the power to penetrate the end material of the zipper combined with the additional layers of fabric and insulation—all of which were cut to ridiculous tolerances—presumably a weight saving device on these jackets. The whole process required lots of focus. Figuring out how the zipper had been installed and attempting to duplicate it, was accompanied by visions of little Vietnamese seamstresses watching, and giggling when I made a mistake or had to redo something, and applauding when I 'got' a task with the clear vision of how the assembly had taken place. What a hoot
