#4.5 brass closed-end zippers are made of medium-weight metal brass teeth that measure approximately 4.5mm wide when zipped.
These zippers are closed at the bottom, and do not separate. They have a specialty slider that lays flat and does not dangle, which makes them a popular choice for garments and upholstery. The zipper teeth have a shiny gold/brass finish.

Now that I have it, I don't know how to attach it. The zipper halves are intact with stops on both sides of the zipper. Spreading the slider seems the only way.
