Description
The zipper top stop sampler pack contains contains 20 total U-shaped zipper top stops in a variety of sizes. If you aren't sure of the size stop needed or if you want to have a variety of same-color top stops on hand in multiple sizes, this is for you! This sampler pack pairs well with any of our slider sampler packs.
These U-shaped top stops are typically used for metal zippers and molded plastic zippers. While they can also be used on nylon coil zippers, nylon coil zippers generally use nylon coil zipper top stops.
Each sampler pack includes 10 pairs / 20 total top stops in the same finish/color in a variety of sizes:
- 4x #3 top stops (2 pairs)
- 10x #5 top stops (5 pairs)
- 6x #10 top stops (3 pairs)
Also known as "top stoppers" or "top ends", zipper top stops are the metal components found toward the top end of the zipper that keep the slider from running off the zipper tracks. When replacing a zipper slider or when shortening a zipper, use these to replace the top stops you have removed.
Not sure which finish/color to get?
- Silver stops pair best with all nickel and aluminum metal zippers. They also pair well with any color molded plastic zipper.
- Brass stops pair best with all brass metal zippers and with molded plastic zippers with yellow hues (think yellow, gold molded plastic zippers).
- Antique brass stops pair best with all antique brass metal zippers and with molded plastic zippers with brown hues.
- Black stops pair best with black molded plastic zippers zippers.
Note: to reduce the unnecessary use of multiple plastic bags to separate the stops, all stops will come in the same bag. The difference in sizes will be easily distinguishable.

I didn't know that such things could be purchased. I looked up on the internet how to replace a zipper pull and found out that a stopper could also be purchased. At first, I considered not buying them and decided I would be sorry if I didn't. I'm glad I did. The instructions showed how to remove the stopper with a pair of needle nose but for me using a small thin flat screwdriver worked the best, except the stopper flew across the room never to be found. I was glad I bought a pkg. of stoppers which I fastened onto my garment with the needle nose pliers. They were a good investment.

Just what I was looking for!
