#5 Molded Plastic Continuous Zipper Chain

#5 Molded Plastic continuous zipper chain is made of medium-weight molded plastic teeth that measure approximately 5mm wide when zipped. #5 is a very common size and can be used on anything that requires a medium-weight zipper, including upholstery, bedding, apparel, and bags.

HOW TO ORDER - Zipper chain is sold by the yard and by the spool. Spools come in increments of 100 and 200 yards (color dependent).

• If purchasing by the yard, select "By the Yard" in the quantity field and enter the desired number of yards in the quantity box below. Bulk discounts start when buying quantities of 10 yards or more. A quantity of 1 = 1 yard. A quantity of 10 = 10 yards, etc. Zipper chain will come as 1 continuous zipper, regardless of yards ordered. A quantity of 10 yards, for example, will come as 10 yards of continuous zipper chain and not 10 pieces that are 1 yard each.
• If purchasing by the spool, select "Spool" in the quantity field and enter the desired number of spools. There are 2 types of full spools - 100 yard spools and 200 yard spools. A quantity of 1 100 yard spool = 100 yards. A quantity of 2 100 yard spools = 200 yards, etc. When purchasing zipper chain by the spool, you will receive the physical spool, which is convenient for storage.

Zipper sliders sold separately. #5 molded plastic sliders sold by Zipper Shipper® are compatible with this zipper chain.

Suitable for 1- and 2-way zippers. You can make both 1-way and 2-way zippers from molded plastic zipper chain. A 2-way zipper that opens from the middle bag-style can be constructed by simply attaching the sliders in the configuration you want. 

Zipper chain can only be used for closed-end zipper applications. Separating zippers (up to 30 ft) can be found via our Bottom Separating Zippers listings.
