Description
#10 brass Nomex® fire retardant continuous zipper chain is made of heavy-weight metal and features teeth that measure approximately 10mm wide when zipped. The zipper tape is made of fire-retardant, high-temperature resistant Nomex® material.
These zippers are UL® tested and certified.
Zipper sliders sold separately. #10 metal sliders sold by Zipper Shipper® are compatible with this zipper chain.
Suitable for 1-way zippers only. You cannot make a 2-way zipper that opens from the middle from metal zipper chain. The sliders can only go in 1 direction. A 2-way zipper that opens from the middle can be constructed from nylon coil zipper chain or molded plastic zipper chain, available via the Zipper Chain By The Yard listings.
Zipper chain can only be used for closed-end zipper applications. Separating zippers (up to 30 ft) can be found via our Bottom Separating Zippers listings.
Please note on Ordering Zipper Chain - Zipper chain is sold by the yard. Enter the number of desired yards in the box below. A quantity of 1 = 1 yard. A quantity of 10 = 10 yards, etc. Zipper chain will come as 1 continuous zipper, regardless of yards ordered. A quantity of 10 yards, for example, will come as 10 yards of continuous zipper chain and not 10 pieces that are 1 yard each.

This product is going to be used for a bike bag. I would like to find these zippers in bright colors as a black zipper on black fabric is hard to see. I will post my finished project soon as I have a complex pattern to figure out. I love that this product is made in the USA.
