Closed-End Zippers
Closed-ended zippers are zippers that don't separate at the bottom. An example of a closed-end zipper is the zipper on a fly of a pair of pants. This type of zipper is different from a separating zipper such as one you would find on a jacket, where the zipper comes apart completely at the bottom. Closed-ended zippers can be sewn into bags, purses, pillows, cushions, upholstery and many other sewing projects and crafts. Our stock lengths range from 3 inches to 108 inches (9 feet). Closed-ended zippers can only be used for uses where the zipper doesn't need to separate at the bottom. It isn't possible to convert a closed-ended zipper to a separating zipper.

You might want to get yourself a cup of coffee before you sit down to read this. I am not one who usually shops at a thrift shop, but I was looking for some kind of a cool vase. On my way out of this thrift shop I saw this ridiculously hot pink sparkly dress that was about three sizes too big for me.
For some reason for $7.00 it called to me. I was so embarrassed to purchase it that I even said to the checkout gal this is for a Halloween costume.
A few days later, I took it over to my mom‘s house, she’s 99 and dresses like a queen! I went into her back bedroom and changed into the hot pink dazzler and twirled out into the kitchen as we had coffee. We both laughed hysterically and then my sister arrived and couldn’t stop laughing.
Then we started to look at the dress and I said I could use this as a robe (as a joke). My sister said hey have it taken in and have a zipper put in and you could!!!
So I went to my dressmaker and she suggested looking online for a hot pink zipper.
I never knew that you could purchase one zipper online! BUT YOU CAN!!!! To me that would be like purchasing one coffee stir or one bobby pin… So unusual!
So I hunted through the Internet and found this zipper company. I found the zipper I needed immediately because the website was so easy to use and I ordered it. I received multiple alerts that it was coming, which made me feel great.
These days trust is a huge problem for me because I have been stung many times ordering stuff from other countries. But this zipper company is from the US.
